Clinical supervision
Specialist Support for Clinicians and Teams Working with Neurological Conditions and FND
Working with complex neurological presentations and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) can sometimes leave clinicians feeling unsure of the best next step.
Whether you're looking for support with a specific case, an opportunity to discuss clinical reasoning, or ongoing professional support, clinical supervision can provide a valuable space to reflect, problem-solve and develop confidence in your approach.
At Evolve Neuro Physiotherapy, we offer clinical supervision and case consultation for physiotherapists, healthcare organisations and multidisciplinary teams.
Sessions are led by Josie Scholes, a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist with over 12 years of clinical experience in neurological rehabilitation and a particular interest in FND. Josie has experience working within specialist FND services and provides education and training for clinicians working with this patient group.
Supervision sessions can support clinicians to:
-
Discuss complex neurological and FND presentations
-
Develop clinical reasoning and formulation
-
Explore rehabilitation planning and progression
-
Consider treatment approaches and management strategies
-
Reflect on challenging clinical situations
-
Build confidence when working with FND
The aim is not to provide definitive answers, but to create a collaborative space to explore ideas, develop clinical reasoning and support professional growth.
