Evolve Neuro Physiotherapy is a specialised rehabilitation service provided by highly skilled Neurological Physiotherapists. We offer specialist community-based physiotherapy at a location of your choice, based on the latest evidence. We provide comprehensive and individualised assessment and treatment for adults with a neurological or long-term condition.
We also offer specialist online physiotherapy services for clients with Functional Neurological Disorder.
Our Aim
Our aim is to empower our clients to understand their condition and achieve their goals. We provide specialised physiotherapy services to improve physical function, promote independence and empower people to live well with their condition.
Our service is flexible to the needs of our client, from a one off assessment, to blocks of treatment and classes.
Meet The Team
Josie Scholes
Founder & Highly Specialised Neurological Physiotherapist
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, MCSP.
Josie has over 12 years' experience working as a Physiotherapist. She has worked in both the public and private sector specialising in neurological and long term conditions. She has worked at some of the UK's largest teaching hospitals including St Georges Hospital, Kings College Hospital, South London and Maudsley Hospital, and the Royal Surrey Hospital.
Josie has extensive experience working in neurosurgery, neuromedicine, neuro-oncology, Stroke, neuro-rehabilitation and vestibular rehabilitation. Josie has also had 5 years experience working at the Lishman Unit - a national specialist FND unit and has worked within the Parkinson's Centre of Excellence at King's college hospital.
She has completed her Level 1&2 PD warrior training, Neurofit course and APPI Pilates course.
Josie presents Nationally and Internationally at Neurological Conferences, and has published research articles. Josie is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology and Vestibular Rehab (ACPIN & ACPIVR).
Josie grew up in Hampshire but has been living in London for the past 10 years. She has recently relocated back to the countryside with her young family.
She loves spending time with her family, being outdoors and gardening.
Josie's passion is empowering clients to live well with their health condition.
